We respect and value the privacy needs of our partners, particularly in contexts where security is a concern. In order to ensure the security & privacy of our grantees, proposals will only be shared with Urgent Action Fund’s regional and country advisors, or trusted contacts as needed.
Urgent Action Fund’s online grant application is encrypted upon submission. In order to maintain your privacy, Urgent Action Fund will also delete your online application from the server within 72 hours.
If you feel that your computer is being monitored, please consider submitting your application using www.protonmail.com. To do so, you must first create a free account and submit your application to us at urgentact@protonmail.com. The transmission of emails using ProtonMail is fully encrypted in order to maintain your privacy.
Text messaging (SMS) and telephone applications are the least secure methods of communicating sensitive information. Please refrain from using those methods if you think you are being monitored.
